BLOOMS TO JOIN WA HALL OF FAME
Worcester Academy is pleased to announce that two former faculty members, Donald '59 and Elaine (Willey) Bloom, will be inducted into the Worcester Academy Hall of Fame on Saturday, May 9.
 
The induction ceremony will take place in the Ross Auditorium in Warner Theater at 5 p.m. A cocktail reception will follow at 6. Click here to register.
 
Elaine Bloom is a former language teacher and onetime head of the Foreign Language Department. Donald Bloom, a member of the Worcester Academy Class of 1959, taught math and was himself head of the Mathematics Department.
 
The Hall of Fame recognizes those individuals who have made significant contributions to all the members of the Worcester Academy community over the years, and who have exemplified the Academy motto, "Achieve the Honorable."  A complete description can be found on the Worcester Academy Awards Web page.
