Worcester Academy's Middle School admits students for Grades 6 through 8.  Admission is based on academic achievement and potential, intellectual curiousity, strength of character and extracurricular talents and involvement.

An on-campus interview with a member of the Admission Office is required for all Middle School applicants.  Prospective students and families will also go on a tour of campus with a current student Ambassador at this time.

Applicants to Worcester Academy are required to submit standardized test scores.  Please have all test scores submitted to the Admission Office by the January 15th application deadline.

MIDDLE SCHOOL APPLICANTS
Applicants to Worcester Academy’s Middle School (Grades 6, 7 and 8) are required to take the ISEE.  Worcester Academy is an ISEE testing site and our testing dates follow.

Worcester Academy is a testing site for the ISEE.  Testing dates and registration deadlines are outlined below:

Any questions regarding testing requirements should be directed to the Admission Office.

A student's Application for Admission, along with all other admission requirements, is due by January 15, 2010 in order to receive priority consideration. Worcester Academy will continue to accept applications for admission after the January 15 priority deadline, which will be reviewed and considered on a space available basis.

The above link will re-direct to a secure site.  Please complete the application, including submitting payment of the application fee.  The following forms will still need to be download and given to the current school-  School Release/School Transcript form, English Teacher Recommendation form, Math Teacher Recommendation form, and Optional Teacher Recommendation form.  These forms can be downloaded through the Admission Portal on the Worcester Academy website.

Paper Application

During February and early March Worcester Academy's Admission Committees work diligently to review, consider and render decisions on all applications complete as of the February 1 priority application deadline. All admission decisions (for applications completed by February 1) will be mailed, along with financial aid decisions if applicable, on March 10, 2010. Enrollment contracts -- along with the initial enrollment deposit -- are due back to Worcester Academy not later than April 10, 2010. Applications received and completed after January 15, 2010 will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
